Oh dear, I have been mucking about so much recently that I have confused myself and possibly anyone who has read my latest posts.

A couple of certainties, I will:

continue with the "erotica" at www.dasmanifesto.com;
create a new blog for my other work, and
stop getting hung up about it all.

So, for now, I have revamped my site at www.dasmanifesto.com there are lots of good quality, good value open edition signed giclée prints for sale. You can view newer pieces in colour as well as the older style line works.

For every tenth print sold the buyer can have the choice of another free print. All print prices include shipping. Now the site is up and running I am going to make time to create and enjoy some new work.

So something more racy already, this is a poster design for Caffeine Racing in Amsterdam...I'll explain later but expect more of this. Two versions.....

This is the "clean" version using marker on Letraset Marker pad, then scanning into CS for some text.

This is the "dirty" version, this is a sketch blown up, printed in draft and them inked with marker before adding text is CS. I have also put a layer of golden yellow over this which I set to colour burn.

I think I like the dirty version better...

A little fun for me now, something a little less "racy". I used to draw to express a desire or idea and then I got caught out drawing to earn a little money from things I no longer genuinely desired. Oh don't get me wrong, I will still desire a little erotica but I don't want to be bound to one subject because that is what people expect of me.

Hells teeth, I don't make enough money from any of this, for it to matter and I don't have enough time to waste on pushing stuff I don't believe in or enjoy as I once did. I am going to enjoy artwork again and; fuck it lets be honest whether I make any money or not I want to be able to show my children some of my artwork before they reach 18.

So here's to going back to basics, being a boy again.

Things that will otherwise never see the light of day. I loved/love Wipeout and here is my own Wipeout craft I designed in 2000 when I had just discovered Photoshop. I don't have playstation anymore, oh well.

I got some studio space earlier in the year just so that I could just cut myself off and experiment with some painting here is one of the pieces. I put it up here now as I just found it. Silly boy to keep forgetting where I put work.

New Painting. It is untitled as a lot of my work is, essentially because it is obvious to all what something maybe. However, cataloging is going to become a real pain. Anyhow, the above piece is Acrylic on plywood, 60 x 104cm.
